Pahuni is a tradition in the Dayak tribe that if somebody had been refusing food offered sincerely to eat, especially fried rice and food made of glutinous rice, then there will be risks. Risk of catastrophe, whether mild or severe, can even bring death. If forced to reject, by neutralizing the situation, they will touch the place or where the food dish placed and said quietly sapulun. Thus, the rejection has been considered legitimate and free from risk kapuhunan. Besides that way, to neutralize can also be picked up a bit of food on offer , and said quietly puse, puse.
